Pastor Alfred Capozzi
Pastor Alfred Capozzi is a dedicated servant of God with a robust educational and ministerial background. He graduated from Vision International University, previously known as Logos Bible College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Bible Studies. His commitment to ministry is evident through his 15 years serving as Pastor of Evangelism at Nutley Assembly of God in New Jersey, where he also contributed as an instructor for Vision International University courses.
In 1991, Pastor Capozzi took on the role of Area Coordinator with the Billy Graham Crusade, further demonstrating his devotion to evangelistic outreach. Known for his deep passion for the Word of God and genuine love for people, Pastor Capozzi possesses a pastor’s heart, marked by compassion and care for others.
From 2005 to 2019, he served as the Senior Pastor of Bloomsburg Bible Church. Together with his wife, Pastor Capozzi also directed Joy Haven Ministries in Mount Pocono. Their leadership encompassed various ministries, such as a Christian Coffeehouse and a Ministers Coalition. Additionally, they hosted youth groups and organized church retreats on the ministry grounds, making a lasting impact on their community through fellowship and spiritual growth.

Rev Ruth Joy Capozzi, wife of Pastor Alfred Capozzi, was raised in a minister’s family, often referred to as a “preacher’s kid.” She received her foundational training for ministry through the Ridgewood Pentecostal Fellowship Pilgrim Camp Ministerial Program, grounding her in faith and leadership from an early age. For many years, she faithfully assisted her father, Rev. Robert D. Kalis, at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Elizabeth, NJ, developing a strong commitment to church service and community support.
Ruth Joy’s dedication extended beyond her local church. She devoted more than fifteen summers to Pilgrim Camp in Brant Lake, NY, where she served extensively as a counselor, nurturing and guiding children aged 6 to 8. Her longstanding commitment at Pilgrim Camp reflects her heart for ministry and her passion for investing in the next generation.
For over twelve years, Ruth Joy has demonstrated executive leadership as the Executive Director of Your Loving Choice, Inc, a Pregnancy Medical Clinic located in Bloomsburg, PA. Her work at the clinic underscores her dedication to supporting families and serving the broader community through compassionate care.
Rev Ruth Joy Capozzi and Pastor Alfred Capozzi together serve as a dynamic and joyful couple, united in their commitment to ministry. They are both credentialed through Harvest International Ministerial Fellowship in Laurel, Maryland, and continue to work hand in hand, faithfully serving the Lord and their community as a team.
