Pastors Alfred and Ruth Joy Capozzi

Pastor Alfred Capozzi, Is a Graduate of Vision International University, formerly Logos Bible College, with a B.A. in Bible Studies. Pastor Al served as Pastor of Evangelism with Nutley Assembly of God in New Jersey for 15 years and taught classes for VIU during that time. In 1991 he served as Area Coordinator with the Billy Graham Crusade. Pastor Alfred Capozzi is a man with a passion for the Word of God and a love for souls. He has a pastor’s heart, full of love and compassion. Pastor Al served as the Senior Pastor of Bloomsburg Bible Church from 2005 to 2019, and Pastor Al and his wife were directors of Joy Haven Ministries in Mount Pocono. There, they led many ministries, including a Christian Coffeehouse, and Ministers Coalition, and hosted youth groups on their grounds, and even church retreats.

Rev Ruth Joy Capozzi, Pastor Al’s wife, a “preacher’s kid,” trained for ministry through the Ridgewood Pentecostal Fellowship Pilgrim Camp Ministerial Program and assisted her father, Rev. Robert D. Kalis, for many years at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Elizabeth, NJ. Ruth Joy served extensively at Pilgrim Camp, Brant Lake, NY, as a counselor for 6-8 years olds for more than 15 summers. She has been the Executive Director at Your Loving Choices, Inc., a Pregnancy Medical Clinic in Bloomsburg, PA, for over 12 Years.

Together they serve the Lord as a team and are a joyful couple. They are both credentialed through Harvest International Ministerial Fellowship in Laurel, Maryland.
